Mobile Batteries was born from passion, perseverance, and purpose. After spending over 3 years working at a well-known battery franchise and forming lasting relationships with customers and colleagues, our founder, Quewin, was retrenched due to financial difficulties at the company. But even during unemployment, the calls didn’t stop—customers kept reaching out for help with their batteries.
Realizing there was still a strong need in the market and with a loyal client base already in place, Quewin took a leap of faith. He purchased just five batteries—and sold them all within two days. Within two weeks, he had sold nearly 30 batteries and knew he had found his calling.
How Mobile Batteries Became a Trusted Name in PE
With the full blessing and support of his former employer, Quewin launched Mobile Batteries, a fully independent mobile battery supply and fitment service. What started as a side hustle from home has grown into a trusted name in Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas.

Sells over 30 batteries per week
Supplies 3 local automotive spares shops
Collaborates with most battery fitment centres in Port Elizabeth
Serves as the dedicated battery supplier for 5 mechanical workshops
